Previously with the old script it would bring it back to 500GB after a factory reset due to the GUID that was being used was for a 500GB drive. You can now upgrade/replace your internal hard drive from 500gb to 1tb/2tb and have it survive a factory reset. There are plenty of videos/guides on how to replace your hard drive on your specific model on YouTube. I'm not going to explain too much as he goes into detail in his videos.
